Colorado FHA Loan Limits 2022

The FHA has a maximum loan amount that it will insure, which is known as the FHA lending limit. These loan limits are calculated and updated annually and are influenced by the conventional loan limits set by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The type of home, such as single-family or duplex, can also affect these numbers.

You’ll notice that most Colorado counties have an FHA Loan Limit of 420,680 for a single-family home. Higher-priced areas in Colorado such as Boulder, Eagle, Garfield, Pitkin, San Miguel, and Summit County all have FHA loan limits above 700,000. This is because of higher-priced homes. Other counties fall somewhere in between these “floor” and “ceiling” amounts.
